Barnard Haile (circa 1759-1847) was a house carpenter from Bristol. During the Revolution, he served in Robert Elliott’s Regiment of Rhode Island Artillery. In 1790, he married Mary or “Molly” Borden at the Congregational Church. Barnard and Molly had two children: Gardiner and Mary Ann.
