Hezekiah Salisbury (or Salsbury, 1754-1833) was the eldest child of Hezekiah Salisbury and Abigail Ady. He was baptized in the Congregational Church. In 1775, he enlisted in Sion Martindale‘s Company in the Army of Observation. After his term of service expired, he reenlisted multiple times, serving during the New York Campaign. One of these enlistments was as a substitute for a man from Petersham, Massachusetts. After the war, he worked as an attorney and moved to Brattleboro, Vermont. He applied for a pension in 1832, receiving $90.66 per year.
