Simeon Ingraham (son of Jeremiah)

Simeon Ingraham (1755-1803) was the first child of Jeremiah Ingraham and Rebecca Munro. During the 1776 New York Campaign, he served as a serjeant in Loring Peck‘s Company of Christopher Lippitt’s Regiment. In 1777, he married Sarah May in Rehoboth. During the Rhode Island Campaign, he was a corporal in William Throope‘s Company of Bristol Militia. Simeon also served in a force of militia deployed to Prudence Island in 1780. Between 1790 and 1800, he moved from Bristol to upstate New York.
