Nathaniel Fales (1749-1834) was the sixth child of Nathaniel Fales and Sarah Little. In 1773, he married Elizabeth Bradford at the Congregational Church. As of the 1774 Rhode Island Census, one black person (likely enslaved) lived in the Fales household. During the Revolution, Nathaniel served in his brother-in-law William Throope‘s Bristol Militia Company. He is described in post-war records as a “yeoman”. As of the 1790 United States Census, there was one enslaved person living in the Fales household. In 1832, Nathaniel applied for a pension, receiving $58.34 per year.
