Edward Munro

Edward Munro (1747-1835) was the second child of Bennett Munro and his second wife, Sarah. He was Baptized at St. Michael’s Anglican Church. In 1769, He married Sarah Hoar at St. Michael’s. Edward and Sarah had three children: Henry, Sarah, and Bennett. Edward was counted as a head of household in the 1774 Rhode Island Census. During the 1778 Rhode Island Campaign, he served with the Bristol Militia Company commanded by William Throope. He also later served with the Bristol Train of Artillery.
