Hannah Throope et al

Hannah Throope (1733-1811) was the eldest child of Thomas Throope Jr. and Mary Billings. In 1755, she married Nathaniel Waldron (1731-1817), the seventh child of Joseph Waldron and his wife Martha. Hannah and Nathaniel had 11 children: Nathaniel, Billings, John, Abigail, Thomas, Ambrose, Rebecca, Joseph, Benjamin, William Throop, and Samuel. William Throop Waldron, was named after Hannah’s brother, William Throope. Billings Waldron, was named for her mother’s maiden name (and also perhaps her brother Billings)
