Warren, Rhode Island in the Revolutionary War

Warren is a coastal town located on the Mount Hope Peninsula in the State of Rhode Island. It is the central town of Bristol County. Like many other places throughout New England, Warren was heavily involved in the Revolutionary War.

The town served as a base for privateer ships and infantry troops. It was also raided by British troops in 1778. Many men from Warren served in various capacities during the war.
