Jonathan Peck

Jonathan Peck (1760-circa 1834) was the second child of Jonathan Peck and Mary Throope. He was baptized in the Congregational Church. During the Revolution, Jonathan served in William Throope‘s Company of Bristol Militia. Along with his required service, he also served two months as a substitute, one for his father, one for his brother, Nicholas. Some of his time in the militia was spent in the Bristol Train of Artillery. Jonathan was counted as a head of household in Bristol in the 1790 United States Census. He later moved to upstate New York. Jonathan applied for a pension in 1833, receiving $60 per year. After his death, his estate was valued a $69.54.
