Militia (Warren)

Warren, the central town in Bristol County, had one militia company at the start of the war, with a second being added later. It served as part of the Bristol County Regiment. There was also an “alarm” company, which would consist of the older men. Many of the men in the Alarm Company had previously served as officers in the main militia companies.
