Robert Elliott’s Artillery

Robert Elliott of Neport commanded the artillery of the Army of Observation. He then commanded a regiment of artillery in the service of Rhode Island. They were involved in the New York Campaign in 1776. They were also present for the Burning of Bristol  and the Battle of Rhode Island.
