Simeon Ingraham (1749-1840) was the tenth child of Joshua Ingraham and Martha Lawton. He was baptized in St. Michael’s Church. He was living in Connecticut at the time of the war and served in a Connecticut Continental Regiment, as well as with the militia. After the war, he moved to Providence, where he spent the rest of his life. In 1800-1801, 1810, 1815, 1817-1820, 1823-1824, and 1829, Simeon was an official surveyor of wood for the town. In 1809, he was administrator of the estate of Charles Spooner. In 1812, he was appointed as the guardian of William Henry Smith. In 1832, Simeon applied for a pension, receiving $24.66 per year. He was most likely the namesake of Simeon Ingraham Miller (1817-1822).
He could be confused with Simeon Ingraham (son of Jeremiah)
