William Bradford (1752-1811) was the eldest son of William Bradford and his wife Mary. During the Revolution, he served as an officer in multiple military organizations. In 1776, He held the rank of major in Benjamin Tallman’s Regiment. He served in the New York Campaign in 1776. He also served as an aide to Major General Charles Lee. During the War, he married a woman named Elizabeth. The couple had seven children: Mary, William, Elizabeth Bloom, Henry, Peter James, John Willis, and Sarah.
