William Wardwell (circa 1750-1780) was the fourth child of William Wardwell and Mary Howland. He was baptized in the Congregational Church. In 1775, he enlisted in Billings Throope‘s Company of William Richmond’s Regiment, reaching the rank of corporal. In 1779, William served in the Bristol County Alarm Company.
