Newton Waldron

Newton Waldron (circa 1752-1827) was a son of Daniel Waldron and Phebe Reynolds. He was baptized in the Congregational Church on February 16, 1752. He worked as a cooper. During the 1778 Rhode Island Campaign, Newton was a corporal in the Bristol Militia Company commanded by William Throope. For multiple years in the 1790s, Newton served as a Justice of the Peace. In 1792, he married Hannah Fales. In 1794, he remarried to Frances Bosworth. Newton and Frances had four children: Leonard, Benjamin Bosworth, Frances, and Ann.
