Jonathan Peck

Jonathan Peck (1698-1757) was the second child of Jonathan Peck and Elizabeth Throope. In 1731, he married Hannah Loring. Jonathan and Hannah had 14 children: Rebecca, Nicholas, Hannah, John, Jonathan, Hannah, Deborah, Thomas, Sarah, Lydia, Mary, Abigail, Loring, and Nathaniel. In 1746, when Bristol became part of Rhode Island, Jonathan was a justice of the Court of Common Pleas. In 1750, he was chief justice, serving until 1756.
